One of my projects is what I call my “Unicorn Book,” which is a repurposed children’s book. Most days I fill in a square by cutting out pictures from other books and attaching some sort of text to it. It started as a 100-day project but I’m pretty sure I am well past the hundred day mark!
I’m also doing a year-long art workshop that has weekly lessons. I’m enjoying being able to learn new techniques in a variety of mediums.
I also sometimes work in a “junk journal,” which is basically a repository for little bits and pieces that are left over on my desk.
One day I found a leaf with some wonderful texture. I brought it home and made some prints with it.
And, finally, I do still paint with blue! Here is my current work in progress.
